Finglas Heritage Walks
Posted on: Tuesday March 13th, 2012

St Canice's AbbeyWe’ve been working on a project to promote the history and heritage of Finglas Village with walking tours of the area. As a starting point, we’ve set up a small website with the first of these tours mapped out: Finglas Heritage Walk.

In time, we hope to expand this site to feature more information on the history of the area, as well as additional routes and points of interest. It is also hoped that we’ll be able to provided guided walking tours of Finglas as part of the services we provide here at The Fingal Centre.

For now, we’d love to hear your opinions of the work we’ve done so far, so please click through onto Finglas Heritage Walk and let us know what you think. Corrections, suggestions and information are all welcome, as are photos or any other material.
