About Benefit 3

Benefit 3 is aimed at those who have little to no experience with computers, those over 55, the unemployed, those who may have little formal education and those who may be disadvantaged (for instance, those with a disability or those living alone).

Topics covered in the training course include:

• Computer basics: hardware and software, switching on the computer.
• Web browsing and e-mail.
• Social networks (Facebook/Twitter).
• Shopping and banking online.

Our Active Parenting Service’s first parenting programme of 2012 will begin soon.

The programme is aimed at parents of children aged from 6 to 12. Beginning on 22nd February, the course will run every Wednesday from 10am to 12:30pm for seven weeks and will be held in The Fingal Centre.
