Community Garden
Posted on: Tuesday August 6th, 2013

The Finglas Centre with the support of DCC has transformed what was once a derelict site between Prospect Hill and Fairlawn into a beautiful garden with 40 allotments.

The allotments are tended by local residents who grow their own fruit and veg. Since the work commenced in 2013 there has been a significant reduction in anti-social behavior and dumping at this location.
This garden provides a focal point for the community to come together with a common purpose, a sense of belonging and ownership and is a place where they are always welcome.
