The Finglas Centre has today launched its redesigned website, with details on the services provided by the centre, its programmes and its activities. We will be continuing to work on improving and altering this site in order to better serve the needs of the community in the Finglas area. We would ask that you bear with us while we transition to this new website and that you report any problems you may have while using it to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Finglas Centre with the support of DCC has transformed what was once a derelict site between Prospect Hill and Fairlawn into a beautiful garden with 40 allotments.
The allotments are tended by local residents who grow their own fruit and veg. Since the work commenced in 2013 there has been a significant reduction in anti-social behavior and dumping at this location.
This garden provides a focal point for the community to come together with a common purpose, a sense of belonging and ownership and is a place where they are always welcome.
